Our services are used by overseas OEMs of auto parts, after market dealers and other importers. In India also, outstation customers may use services in NCR region for buying / selling the products. With respect to auto components sourcing services, it covers following activities.

Vendor selection with capacity & capability verification. DNV will assess the vendor capability w.r.t. product to be developed. On the basis of predesigned format, machines, manpower, technical skill, finance and all other necessary resources are assessed ensuring development of good quality product.
Seeking vendor approval. After vendor assessment, a list of 3/4 probable vendors is forwarded to client along with LIST OF MACHINES AND VENDOR APPORVAL FORM for final selection by client. A budgetary quotation/cost sheet is also forwarded to have an idea on component cost, so that client may decide about the most suitability of vendor.
Commercial agreement. Once vendor is decided, on behalf of client DNV may start cost negotiation and settle other commercial terms considering long-term business along with volume. It will be legal document as per prevailing law covering payment procedure, packing, freight, rejection if any, development cost and period, validity etc.
Product development. As per drawing, component development process is started. APQP is get made under guidance of DNV and final APQP along with samples are forwarded to client. After approval of samples, PPAP is done for taking care of customer inspection report.
Logistics & Commercialization of supply. Once PPAP is approved, all arrangements are made to ensure production of accepted components. All tools, checking gauges, jigs and fixtures are finally modified to ensure the same. Now arrangements are made for safe packing and delivery of contracted volumes.
Supply chain management. As per delivery schedule, needed quantity is ensured even if production is done at multi location leaving no scope of failure.
Vendor audit & up gradation To maintain product quality and to improve productivity, DNV conduct QUALITY SYSTEM AUDIT at vendors’ end. Quality circle, kaizen, six sigma quality tools are applied for consistent quality, cost reduction and to eliminate wastage. Finally, we design such a system, which produces only quality product.
